Updated the FAQ section for information on Foreign Manufacturer’s Reporting Requirements (49 CFR Part 551 Subpart D - US Agent and 566 - Manufacturer Identification) submission process.

Resolved the issue with the spinning wheel appearing on the screens when validations are triggered while creating portal submissions.
Minor bug fixes and improvements.

Upgraded the CAPTCHA feature available on the New Request page to the latest version.
Upgraded the Email address validation to allow more characters in the rightmost segment of an email address.

Added an option to delete the uploaded Cover Letter file during the submission process.
Added validation to restrict the manufacturers from submitting 49 CFR Part 586.12 (Replica Motor Vehicles - Annual Report) if not approved for 49 CFR Part 586 (Replica Motor Vehicles).
Minor bug fixes and improvements.

The following changes are made to the Cover Letter / Submission Description section of the portal for security reasons:
- Users can only enter plain/regular text in the box provided. HTML content will no longer be allowed.
- A new feature, “Upload Cover Letter”, is added for users to attach the cover letter as a document if more advanced formatting is needed.

Increased the character limit to 1000 characters for Descriptions/Explanations and Mitigation fields under Section 2.1 Non-compliance with Specific FMVSS for Temporary Import Exemption Application for VEHICLES (Box 7 on the HS-7 Form) and Temporary Import Exemption Application for EQUIPMENT (Box 7 on the HS-7 Form) applications.
Removed FMVSS 105 standard from the list of standards that are displayed under Section 2.1 Non-compliance with Specific FMVSS when the Vehicle Type is selected as Passenger car in Section 1: Vehicles for the Temporary Import Exemption Application for VEHICLES (Box 7 on the HS-7 Form) application.

Fixed the issue with Replica Vehicle Registration (49 CFR part 586) application creating duplicate records after submitting.
Updated the question “Have you previously replicated this vehicle?” to “Have you already built an example of your replica vehicle? If YES, submit photographs of the replica. If NO, you must submit drawings of the vehicle with dimensions, including length, width, and height” on Step 2 of the Replica Vehicle Registration (49 CFR part 586) application.

Updated Temporary Import Exemption Application for VEHICLES (Box 7 on the HS-7 Form) application form to make questions Q1.3 and Q1.4 available for selection when the application requests an extension for existing import permission,
