This is to update an existing record. This MID was originally set up on 1/24/2024 as KNAPHEIDE TRUCK EQUIPMENT COMPANY OHIO. After discussions between Michael Land (Knapheide) and Geeta Srihari (NHTSA) on 1/25/2024, it was agreed that Knapheide needs only one MID for Knapheide's HQ, not one for each installation facility. It was also agreed that rather than create a new MID, that an existing record could be modified to accomplish this. Since this record was just created the day before of this writing, it was decided to make this MID correspond to Knapheide's HQ (THE KNAPHEIDE MANUFACTURING COMPANY).
